Quote
Before the start of next season, the Ravens will entertain offers to trade backup quarterback Kyle Boller, and it might not be a bad idea. Boller served as a backup to Steve McNair last year after three previous seasons of starting. He still believes he can be an effective starter in the league, and the Ravens might move him if the price is right.

Boller has one year remaining on his current contract, and there will be some head coaches out there who will think they can improve his game. If that’s the case, the Ravens should be able to at least get a third-round pick for Boller. The former Cal quarterback was at a disadvantage having to start as a rookie, but has shown little progress in four seasons in Baltimore. Last year, Boller at least proved he can be a serviceable backup.

Note:  I am not advocating we pick him up, just throwing out some news

Next year, here are Bucs' QBs going into camp:

Simms
Gradkowski
Rattay
McCown
Boller
Garcia
Carr
Quinn

Think we can find a winner out of this group???

I'm starting to think QB might be the way to go in round one otherwise we will never get past mediocrity bringing in these castoffs or with what we already have.

No?

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

IF Fiedler could come back healthy it would be interesting to see what he can do.  But he is eligible to be signed right now because he didn't play last year, and the Bucs aren't signing him.  So you have to figure either he's done or he wants some guaranteed money.

I've never been a Boller fan. A sub-60% passer who throws as many INT's as TD's.

I have had mixed opinions about Boller. One part says the guys should've progressed more than he did. But, at the same time it's one of those things where he had a pretty cruddy cast to deal with. Not by any means advocating that he should be here, but I would like to see him move on elsewhere and get a clean shot.

Carr has better numbers than Boller, with a poorer cast around him.

Boller sucks.
IMO, 2005 was his "make or break" year, and he crapped with flying colors.

I actually thougt that he would turn out to be a solid QB last year.

He ended up proving me wrong.
