Fonoti would have helped in those cases. For the most part, Alstott is a reliable 1-2 yard grinder...Seattle game aside...
Fonoti, God bless him, isn't a fullback though he could've been used as a third TE.
Or a 3rd base.

Na, Akinori Iwamura has that covered for Tampa.

Exactly.  In that case, Alstott gets in.

Unfortunately, Muir likes his "style" of lineman.  And Fonoti as big as he is wasn't good enough for this offense...

Perhaps he does....we'll never know.

Indeed.

What a joke not keeping Fonoti was.

No, I'm just a perfectionist in the hindsight perspective.

No doubt, even when one of the teams is at it's weakest point in a decade they still make for a great game.

Duke is going to lose.

And resign Alstott.

So the running woes all fall on a FB now?

I would rather think the interior of the O-line can't open them to begin with...

Well not "rather" think, but that is the way it is...

Come on Boid you're better than that....I just don't believe we can think that Mike can line up single back and run outside tackel with 3 TEs or whatever, look at 2005 Cook was 'da man' and helped open up those holes from the LBers coming over the top....OL can only do so much when you 11 v. 5/6.
