So is he really dead
We've just learned Michael Jackson has died. He was 50.

Michael suffered a cardiac arrest earlier this afternoon at his Holmby Hills home and paramedics were unable to revive him. We're told when paramedics arrived Jackson had no pulse and they never got a pulse back.

A source tells us Jackson was dead when paramedics arrived.

Once at the hospital, the staff tried to resuscitate him but he was completely unresponsive.

We're told one of the staff members at Jackson's home called 911.

La Toya ran in the hospital sobbing after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Michael is survived by three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince "Blanket" Michael Jackson II.

My comment came before it was posted that he died.  Nevertheless,  I still lack any form of respect for the man.

TMZ is reporting he died. CNN is just saying he was rushed to the hospital, no announcement of his death. Of course, CNN also has 3 stories on Jon and Kate's problems, so maybe that's taking up all their time.

Don't explain yourself to them. People have their opinions. Would anybody say RIP if it was a murderer?

The man loved little children more then he should. He was sick in the head and the fame that he obtained only hurt him imo.

Yahoo is using TMZ article are reference to his death. Not sure they would just throw it out there like that, unless they could confirm it.

Jackson led a life I could never understand - but I surely appreciated his talent - may he have a safe journey as well.

Notwithstanding his well-documented trouble, he was very talented and did a lot for music.

RIP, Michael Jackson.

For sure. Unfortunately, most on this board OBVIOUSLY are too young to be aware of or appreciate how talented he was in his prime.

I thought Lovie said he wanted quickness & speed, even at the QB position?
