And their coaches get fired, too.

The Bengals pretty clearly operate in their own universe.

I wonder how he would of done in Washington or Dallas where money is not an issue. We will probably soon find out.

Pretty much everyone agrees if Gruden was with a team where someone else picked the players he would be very successful. If it is Washington, all Snyder's money hasn't fielded a terribly talented team this decade. As for Dallas, if Gruden had Parcells on staff and they went through a run of players like the Cowboys did between 2003-2006, they'd no doubt be real Super Bowl contenders. In my mind San Diego is the ideal landing spot, if he's smart enough not to run into it with AJ Smith. Coincidentally San Diego is annually one of the lightest players in free agency, proving you don't need to buy other teams' talent to be good.

By the way

K Johnson 2002  76 catches 1088 and 5 tds     AB 2008 83 catches 1248 and 7 TDs
McFarland 2002  19 tackles 1.5 sacks      Hovan 2008   43 tackles 1 sack
Dilger/Dudley 2002     50-511 5 tds        Smith and stevens 57 -637 -5 Tds
Barber---Stats similar.

Phew...  You spent time putting that together to try to prove some kinda point?  That garbage proves absolutely nothing about the overall talent of the players you are trying to compare.

Atrocious.  Just atrocious.

Another look at the topic: http://blogs.nfl.com/2009/06/29/more-moneyball-the-economics-of-wins-and-losses/

Though the Bucs are right in the middle of the pack for this analysis of cost per win, take a closer look at the middle column titled "Committed Cash" - and see how they compare in their spending habits to the 31 other teams.

Yeah they were just talking about that here in Dallas, the Bucs, over the last 5 years, spent less real money than any other team.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

The Glazers got some 'splaining to do...

All that talk about salary cap hell was an outright lie to fans.

In addition, the raised ticket costs leave me feeling that the
Glazers are playing us as fools

Actually there are three factors to consider:

1.  Lowest amount of money spent
2.  One of the highest ticket prices
3.  One of the best stadium deals

So on the expense side the Bucs have possibly the best setup in the league, while on the price side fans in an area with a lower than average median salary are expected to spend more than almost any other fanbase.

Yeah, I agree; I'd say they have some 'splaining to do...
