What round should he be taken in? he lead all rookies in rushing and is very underrated. slaton got overshadowed by Stewart, Chris johnson, and Matt Forte.. Any other year Slaton could have won rookie of the year.

He's probably an early second.  There's been talk of someone else getting some goal line carries, but he'll rack up yards on the ground and in the air and still should score some TDs.  I always get a little nervous about a sophomore jinx, but I still like him

Durability might be my biggest worry but 1500 yards and 8-10 TD's is about what I'd think he's good for.

My opinion... I would not take him to be anything more than my 3rd RB, maybe. The Texans will definitely find a solution when it comes to getting a bigger back to help him. He was a nice surprise last year, but there's no way IMO he becomes a #1 fantasy back.

No better than a 3rd RB?  Maybe?  Unless he gets injured, there is no way he is not better than a 3rd RB ... maybe.

... and, maybe, he'll score TD this year at a level commensurate with a 1st round fantasy back. He's one of the only "consensus" 1st round backs that's been openly relegated to a non-goalline role. Kubiak has openly stated he needs a bigger back to carry the ball in short yardage situations; to me that spells disappointment if you pass on a more complete back for Slaton. The kid is mega talented, I'm not disputing that, but if you're counting on him to carry your water good luck.

You said he was no more than a 3rd RB, maybe.  Name the 20 or more Rbs that you would draft ahead of him.

I think he's a good 2. I can think of more than 20 HB's that I think will have a better season.
