What round should he be taken in? he lead all rookies in rushing and is very underrated. slaton got overshadowed by Stewart, Chris johnson, and Matt Forte.. Any other year Slaton could have won rookie of the year.

IMO Slaton's a decent talent... nice quicks, decent speed (not great, that's why he was a 3rd rounder and not a 1st rounder), and pretty good vision. He'll always be a "homerun threat" for that reason, but to think he's going to reproduce what he had last year when 1) he's demonstrated no short-yardage ability, and 2) his team has actively looked for a short yardage replacement, is fool's gold. There have been plenty of recent instances where a rookie back has shown some ability then been drafted way too high. He's got talent, but keep it in perspective, especially for fantasy... he'll never be a short-yardage TD guy, and for that reason he probably won't be worth a top 20 pick.

As for a listing of 20 RB I'd pick before him, I could probably come up with that fairly easily. Simply because he won't get the short yardage "point" carries. Close to the same reason I wouldn't have Chris Johnson in my top 15 despite being a much more productive version of what Slaton is.

In an all TD league you might be right but in a yardage + TD league Slaton is a good pick and certainly more than a top 20.
