i say suh or mccoy. i could see them going for a corner as well, but not really in the 1st. i think they will likely drart one early if mack or arrington dont step up. left tackle is a possibility, it really depends on how penn performs and what he is asking. it also depends on hum much money they have tied up in the line with josephs and trubloods contracts coming up.....not to mention faines salary. DE is entirely dependent on adams and wilkerson. wilkerson is in a contract year, so i would expect good things from him. the new scheme on d should help adams produce better numbers. so as of right now, i dont think they go for a DE in the first. wr may be an option if dez bryant continues his success. i think hes better than crabtree.

without knowing anything about this years team, any positon other than qb would be a reasonable prediction for the 1st round pick. i think after all the fits from the fans this year about not drafting defense, they will try to upgrade the d with the first pick. that is unless there is a big talent on O avalable.

haha......i has a decent sized post and didnt really say anything....lol

As of now it looks like there really aren't any "elite" CBs in next years draft.

While I'm aware of the teams oriented offenses, Bulaga is just as good in pass pro as he is on the ground. He's a more dominate version of Ryan Clady. Needless to say, we aren't an elite LT away from winning a SB. If that position is causing the team to fail then yes take it. But, if Penn is playing solid every season the need becomes non-existant.
I'm a big believer the Bucs are held back from winning the Super Bowl more due to overall talent than positional need, so if Bulaga (or Okung) is as good or better than Ryan Clady, you take him.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

NavyBuc,

Dre Moore? Are you kidding? So far he has shown nothing.

Would like to see a link about how Bryant is unhappy.

You don't seem to be happy with anyone. Your name Java?

LMAO...good stuff Stan....

George Selvie needs to have a helluva season to get in this discussion, IMO.  He was disappointing last season.

I doubt we'll have a top 5 pick after this season.....we'll finish 10-6 or 9-7 at worst...........barring season ending injuries to key players....

Positive speculation you say?  I'm just looking forward to watching a different look on both sides of the ball......

On offense of course because it's no fun watching punts and FG's even with the formation shifts. I kind of liked watching good to dominant defense though and that won't be as fun now.

I know its a bit early but if some people are predicting we play as bad as some expect us to be, what do you think we should do with our pick (possible top 5 pick overall). Here are some of the positions I think we could use a "Franchise" player at...

We should really draft a franchise QB.

Just because I'm lmao doesn't mean that's funny.

Well , If it's Bill Cowher then I think D-Line, if it's M.Shanahan then I think QB.

Well Dez Bryant IMO gotta be the pick cause other than Antonio we're pretty low in talent level.
The two Bryants making a beast combo in tampa.
But then again there's also FA and maybe with a wish, a prayer, and balls being shown by the FO to spend money.
We possibly sign Marshall.
Then I think we go DT/DE in that situation.
Any of those beasts would make me happy.
