I didn't click the other link, but this was on rotoworld.  Could be the same as the other link.

The Tampa Tribune confirms that the Bucs "have been talking internally for weeks now" about free agent Joe Horn.
Offensive coordinator Jeff Jagodzinski and receivers coach Richard Mann are said to be big fans of Horn. GM Mark Dominik, however, is the voice of reason holding up the deal.

I would think that Marvin would have more in the tank then Joe Horn. How old is Horn? 37?
Ike could bring more than Horn.  So could Gangsta Harrison.

Horn?

C'mon...

I'd rather have Ike Hilliard with a broken leg than Joe Horn...

Galloway doesn't really like the 3rd down routes...Ike does.  Horn is tough.

But really, if you want Horn, why not Ike?  Ike was the cleanest route runner the Bucs had.  He would have been perfect for the #3 spot.

Thing is, we keep hearing that having ANY of these old guys takes away valuable reps.  Well, what if the younger guys fglat out suck, and the team plays poorly, what does that do to the younger coach/players/GM?  I think it rattles them more than it helps.  You need balance, and the BUcs going balls out youth-movement is not such a smart move, IMO.

If somebody is going to start (Horn's agent) or spread (the Tribune) a rumor it should at least be reasonable to believe.  If he said he was going to Chicago or Jacksonville it might make sense, but not to Tampa Bay.  If the Bucs were going to pick somebody up they would have done it quite a while ago.

I heard that Horn was only on the Bucs emergency list. I don't think we would consider bringing him in unless someone is injured.

This is purely subjective.

We can hate on Joe Horn all we want, but he's got one quality Raheem likes: He's a tough guy. He'll fight for and hang onto the ball when it comes his way. Raheem's made it clear already; he wants tough guys on his ball club.
