The Vikings will waive WR Aundrae Allison on Tuesday if they can't trade him by 5:00 p.m.

The 2007 fifth-rounder had fallen behind offseason star Jaymar Johnson in the team's plans.

He has good size and elite speed.  He had quite a few fans on here for the 07 draft.

I doubt he is too good since the Vikings cut him and it's not like they have good depth at WR either, but I wouldn't mind giving the guy a try. We need some more depth at WR.

He's probably better than Joel Filani and Patrick Carter. At this point though, it might be too late for him to try to come in and learn a new system. He certainly is an intriguing option at WR if he becomes available.

Filani didn't look too bad the few times I saw him practice.
