Terms on Vick's contract revealed

Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on August 13, 2009 8:51 PM ET
Michael Vick's contract with the Eagles is for two years, but his stay in Philadelphia is more likely to last one year based on contract terms revealed Thursday night.

Fox's Jay Glazer has the scoop:  Vick signed a one-year, $1.6 million contract with a team option for 2010.  The option is for $5.2 million.

More to come shortly.

Creative? The guy barely runs the ball with Westbrook. I don't see the creativeness here

Andy Reid was on Mortensen's bus a few days ago saying that he was happy with his stable of QB's and had no interest in Vick.  Just proves you can't believe a word any of these guys say about stuff like this...

It doesn't make sense. You have Kolb and Mcnabb is ten times better

Michael Vick is better than Kolb.

Happy and Peppy and Bursting with love.

At killing dogs I am sure... but Vicky wasn't very good at QB as it is.

Wonder if Reid will keep a tighter leash on Vick than he did his kids.

He's better than Kolb and a good option when (not IF) McNabb gets injured.
Exactly how I see it. God move for a team trying to win it all this season.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

Vick isn't a good QB. Below average is more like it. Third string cry baby? Who is that?

Vick just adds a whole other reason to dislike that team and their miserable fans.

All posts are opinions in case you are too stupid to figure that out on your own without me saying it over and over.

Atleast his character fits into Philthy. They yell jokes about peoples children dying and Vick kills dogs.
