Pewter Report/Pewter Insider Subscribers, and Bucs fans in general,

We want to hear from you.

What would your interest level be in attending an annual Draft Day Party that is sponsored by Pewter Report. It would be a lot like the annual get-together Pewter Report has at training camp. We would plan to have it at a popular sports bar in the Tampa/St. Pete area. It would most likely be held on the first day of the draft (Saturday). Scott Reynolds and I would not be able to be there all day, but we would shoot over from One Buc Place to make an appearance and conduct a Q&A session.

Pleaset let us know what your interest level would be in attending as we are seriously considering doing this, but only if we feel our subscribers will attend.

I plan on coming down to Tampa this year for the draft, but likely will be heading to Raymond James Stadium as a friend said the Bucs put on their own big party. Not saying I couldn't convince her to come to this as well, but just wouldn't be there the whole time.

oh man that is so tempting ... I usually have a draft day party at my house with tons of BBQ baby!, but that is very very tempting.  It would be nice to meet many of the folk from around here since I haven't made it to T.C. in over 2 years.  I'm torn.

Can we make the party in Virginia?  We're holding it down with like 4 fans up here!

Karen - The Bucs are having their own event and we want to have our own event. I'm pretty sure they have their own things planned, and as we are an independent publication – not owned by the team – they probably aren't including us in their plans.

PLEASE READ THIS POST: If you are considering going, we really need to know NOW because we are scouting around Tampa Bay area sports bars and we want to get the right fit. At our last Pewter Report event – our annual training camp get-together – we had between 80-100 people show up. That's fine, but I just need to know how many people REALLY plan on showing up so we can accomodate all of them. We barely had enough room at the Celebration Tavern last August because we had more people show up than we expected.

We don't want to reserve 75 seats and then have 100 show up. That's all. And whatever sports bar we go to, we don't want to reserve 100 seats and then have only 75 people show up, either. That's bad for their business.

We really need to know by the end of February if you plan on attending a Pewter Report draft party. Including the PR staff, we're already up to about 25 and we just posted this on Monday.
