Well the only difference in that...is that generally, your starting qb will get the entire half and maybe the next quarter in the third preseason game.  Due to the battle, Lefty should get a little more reps since he didn't get the amount he should have in preseason game 3

I wasn't sure if PAC would be thrilled about Leftwich starting either.

Whatever the case, I am glad this is over.

No, I'd guess that like all staters he'll get 1-2 series and then, hopefully, we see Freeman for the rest of the game.

id rather see if JJ is worth keeping around.

They never really opened the QB competition upto JJ.  It was just lefty and McCown.  I wish they would have seen what hes got now in preseason since whoever is the QB is giving way to freeman midseason anyways.

id much rather a guy that stands in the pocket and throws the ball downfield...you know, plays QB.  others like a guy to dance around like michael flatley and then dump it off for a 3 yard pass.

Agreed, if we were gonna go through all this crap we should have just kept Garcia, atleast with him you knew you had a good arm, a good scrambler who kept his eyes down field. I don't agree with what all has transpired, but Lefty is our QB so i'll back him up. GO BUCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Both QBs have MAJOR flaws.

Does Rah need to bring in some Jr. High WRs to practice for Leftywitch to finally figure out that "ya' can't just rear back and throw it 100 mph" and expect to have success?

Let's see, Garica couldn't hit the deep ball or find the open reciever, but he could at least make plays with his legs. So we boot him out of town and hand the starting job over to a guy who also can't seem to hit the deep ball, often times fails to spot the open receiver, is extremely inaccurate when he actually does find a guy to throw to, and needs absolutely perfect protection for him to even have a chance to begin with? Way to go Raheem, it's exactly what I"d expect from a 32 year old head coach with no experience whatsoever.

One or two wins at the bye week? Start Mr. Freeman for the rest of the season.

Could this team be any worse of a joke?   Leftwich is the starter?   Give me a friggin break.   Pathetic.   This team has done nothing but go backwards since last year.
