per KFFL The Baltimore Ravens have announced they have waived WR/KR Yamon Figurs.
I know we were interested in him a few years ago coming out and he does have speed and experience with Freeman.  Let me say this now I am not suggesting that we bring him in.  I am merely asking if anyone thinks the front office might be concidering taking out a flyer on him?

If we didn't land on Straughter I would say absolutely bring him in, but since we have 2 solid return men, do we need another?

Figures has lightning speed, but poor routes.

We don't need the help in the return game, and he doesn't have the bulk that Stroughter has to hold up as a receiver. Yet another example of why you don't use 2nd and 3rd round picks on purely return guys.
