If Clausen can keep it up with games @Pitt, UConn, and @Stanford, he HAS to get serious consideration.

It is for the Best Player in CFB not the player on the best team.

IMO it should be between Clausen and Keenum. Why should Tebow, McCoy, or Ingram get an award for being offensive players on teams with really good Ds?

On the flip side of that argument, Keenum and Clausen are racking up those passing numbers because their defenses suck and they have to throw the ball to be in the game.

183 yards 7.6YPC on the 5th ranked rush defense. 5 100 yards games (4 of 5 he has had 150+).  On the year averaging 7.0 YPC. Has 918 yards 7 TD. Thats with him getting very few carries vs Boise.
