Nobody wants the Heisman at this point...

Off sheer #'s, Clausen has to be #1.  But really, all have warts at this point...

Keenum won't win because of SoS, but I don't care who he played against, those numbers are DAAAAMMMNNN.

If Clausen can keep it up with games @Pitt, UConn, and @Stanford, he HAS to get serious consideration.

Too late to the party, maybe next year. Besides, I think he was cheating. No way he goes thru packs of defenders like that, without one laying a finger on him, unless he has some sort of super-slick teflon coating on his Uniform. It was like watching a guy with fat fingers try to pickup watermelon seeds.

The Heisman is another joke of a trophy IMO.  give the Heisman to the best player of the National championship team.......oh wait, who really knows who the true champion is??

I'll pick Tebow to win the Heisman this year.  There is no one else who is that important to his team IMO.

It is for the Best Player in CFB not the player on the best team.

IMO it should be between Clausen and Keenum. Why should Tebow, McCoy, or Ingram get an award for being offensive players on teams with really good Ds?

On the flip side of that argument, Keenum and Clausen are racking up those passing numbers because their defenses suck and they have to throw the ball to be in the game.

It should be Clausen. With out him the Irish wouldn't be any where near where they are.

LaMichael James anyone?

Why?

183 yards 7.6YPC on the 5th ranked rush defense. 5 100 yards games (4 of 5 he has had 150+).  On the year averaging 7.0 YPC. Has 918 yards 7 TD. Thats with him getting very few carries vs Boise.

He's 16th in the nation in Yards and 37th in TD.  I don't think he's in convo at this point.

And closing in fast. If he gets more than 2 carries at Boise, and 6 carries vs Purdue hes probably top 3 or 4 in the nation in rushing.
