Statistically, I really don't see Tebow in it. He is much more of a game manager this year with all those backs to just hand off to. If not for his rushing yards and TDs he wouldn't even be close.

Brantley in '10 or '11? He was 9/13 for 146 yards and 3 TDs in just 20 odd minutes of pt.

Still think Clausen is in the race. 30/45 329 yds 2 TDs yesterday. 266/395 3382yds 23TDs 4INTs PLUS 3 rushing TDs. More yards than McCoy with equal TDs and <half the INTs. I don't think his teams crappy record hurts him nearly that much because it is ND and they still get media hype/coverage even when crappy.

It's a shame Pike got hurt earlier in the year, as he would probably be the leader right now.  Ingram's performance vs. Auburn along with Gerhart's numbers hurt his chances big time.  He'll need to dominate in Atlanta to get back in it.  I still think Kong Suh should be invited to New York.    For me, the race will be decided next weekend with Tebow, McCoy, Suh, and Ingram in Conference Championship games.  If neither of them blow it up, then Gerhart should get it.
