Does anybody know what contact a player that is IR'd is allowed to have with the team? Take Campbell, for instance. He was basically IR'd so the Bucs could retain his rights after he was waived. Can he practice with the team? Can he attend meetings?

5 injured, one retired. But NE will find some way to turn that into an advantage. Find some new guy that plays better, then trades the IR'd guy at the end of the season to Oakland for more firsts.

Players on Injured Reserve
According to the official NFL injured reserve rules, once a player is placed on the I.R. list, he is unable to return to play until the end of his team's current schedule. Furthermore, he may not practice with his team until the conclusion of that season.

So basically that player wouldn't even be around the team?? Guess it's just a matter of maintaining his rights.
