This board is amazingly funny. This secondary will not continue to give up huge plays like this for the rest of the season. It's a fluke. They happen when you have a new defensive coordinator who brings in a new scheme with new players AND your best safety is out.

If we got straight up outplayed and manhandled by Dallas, there would be a cause for concern. That didn't happen. If you take away the big plays, the Bucs probably win this game. It's unfortunate that we had to face a great QB early who can pick apart such mistakes, but crap happens.

The bottom line is, stupid mistakes CAN be fixed. A lack of talent can't. The Bucs clearly proved that talent wasn't the issue. Give them a chance to patch up the holes before you jump ship and then whine to get back on as soon as you realize your panicky arguments hold no water.

Poor coaching then...big plays been going on all pre-sesason.  Every game we give up at least a 60-70 yard play.

Fail. Aside from the Jacksonville game, all the big plays happened against the 3rd and 4th stringers.

I agree the secondary woes can be corrected.  Pass rush though has to be masked with an increase of blitzes as Gaines was disappointing in this game.

No need to interrupt all the whining with something like facts.

Ok NUB its lack of talent to run the scheme...Good coaches would learn to adapt or hire a cordinator that could work with the type of talent that was in place. [banghead]

hmmm...everything CAN be easily fixed with the right band-aid. The question remains ~"WILL it get fixed?"
I had more emotion when Gruden lost because I EXPECTED him to win the superbowl every year. I dont expect much now.

This is the same thing that happened in the pre-season,..   getting beat deep on a regular basis.

Maybe they should have adjusted for the opener,..

I'll give them the benefit of the doubt at this point,..

But looks like a trend

No pass rush. We're in trouble.

A nice rationalization that's true of almost every game. But meaningless.

They then better freakin' fix it because it sure as hell is broke in a big way. More scores in the 30s from opponents on the way I'm afraid.

That wasn't a scheme break down.

Too much confusion pre-snap, homework wasn't done at all on Dallas packages in my opinion.

Pass rush can't be easily fixed. The DEs just aren't good.
