Don't waste your money buying season tix this year.  You can buy them for alot less in front of the stadium before the game.

the SELLER pays ALL of the Stubhub fees. Many of the tickets have e-delivery, so there's no shipping. there's also NO Sales tax. and the seats tend to be better, ie on the aisle becuase season ticket holders have the better seats already. there's really NO reason to buy them from the bucs at full value + deposits. there really isnt.

I don't believe that's true. I always have a lot of additional fees added on, even w/ e-ticket.

Yeah, stubhub makes the buyer pay a fee.

Stubhub though is much more legit, and they have a guarantee so that if by some bad luck you get scammed or never get your ticket, you get your money back.

But if you get scammed by a scalper outside the stadium, you are SOL.

the buyer pays the asking price and shipping.  there are many sales with NO shipping, since they email you the ticket.   there are NO fees for buyers.

Now, why would you waste your money on tickets?  Makes no sense to me.

Thanks for everyone's input!  I have decided against buying the season tickets this year and will go game by game and try out various sections.  The Bucs may be so bad this year that they waive the seat deposits for the lower sections next year.  That's where I would prefer to be.

You're incorrect. I paid a service fee for a stubhub Texans-Bucs' game. A $9.99 ticket cost me $19.94. See below.

Ticket Cost:      $9.99
Discount:      ($0.00)
Service fee: $5.00
Delivery Cost:      $4.95

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Total:      $19.94

Yeah stubhub charges the SELLER 15% and then also charges the buyer service/delivery fees.

They really make a killing.  I wish I would have thought of that.....
