With the Fighting Irish down by 21-17 with 34 seconds left and the clock running they had the ball on Purdue's 5 yard line trying to score but had no timeouts left, and so after Purdue stuffed their run they decided to call a timeout themselves instead of letting the clock run out for some crazy reason. The result of that was Notre Dame scored on the very next play and won the game 24-21 - DOH!!  :o

I was very happy about that outcome, even though ND should have lost that game but was given a free gift with a pretty bow on it at the end.
