It was a good start, but he has a lot to learn - and Paul Ranger looked bad in the first game, scoring an own goal for the Thrashers.

Haven't seen him play but I heard he's got game...

Lightning are playing alot better the Caps right now. They could seriously use Hedman. I got Victor Hedman being one of the premier Defenseman in the NHL in a couple years. All the Lightning need is a Lights Out Goalie and some depth on wings and defense and that team is back to the playoffs.

They're off to a good start this year, props to them.  Problem with the Caps right now is that Ovechkin is about it for scoring on that team right now.

I wouldnt say he is the only one. He has been fairly quiet and more of in the assist role. hes racked up a ton of assists. But he is the goal leader. I hope to see Backstrom and Semin and Mike Green to get more involved in the goal scoring.
