Look at the quote underneath your sig. That's not **CENSORED**ing?

You call it **CENSORED**ing.... I call it being a realist. I expected that this year would be a step back, maybe two... and I don't think we'll win for a number of reasons. Just hoping to see improvement at the season progresses.

This same thread has been started like 100 times on this forum.   How many "when was your first Buc game" threads do we need?

Why does it matter how many there are?

Just bump one of the old ones.   Guys like myself who have already given their story 10 times are bored of giving it again.   There were some good stories in those old threads.   It would be better to add to those by bumping them.

Good point. Now the deed has already be done though.. But I do get your point now.

Actually, I'm mistaken on this one.  Those old threads are not there anymore.   I only found one.

I know I was @ some earlier but the furthest back that i remember was the 3-0 monsoon vs the Chiefs in '79
That was my 1st game as well and became a Buccaneers fan after that game. Second game I saw was Tampa at Green Bay back in 85 that big blizzard hit while I was there.

Now I know who that guy was at that Chiefs game who shaved his head bald, painted his head like a football, got drunk, took off his shirt, and sat next to us yelling "I'm a Buccaneer, I'm a Buccaneer".

Mine was in '95 at the Sombrero vs. the Bengals. My mom and I drove from GA, and it was my only regular season game. Dilfer was pulled in the 4th quarter and Casey Weldon managed the rest of the game enough to win. I went to a preseason game in Jacksonville and their fans were horrible

This year against the Bills. I live in upstate, NY in Buffalo's market and the Bucs have NEVER come to play the bills in buffalo until this year. It wasn't the best game to be at, Leftwich's pick6 left me stunned and the Bills fans are pretty crazy, but I kept quiet. 33-20 Bills... I still enjoyed the game, the atmosphere, just seeing the team play. Can't wait to do it again, hopefully next time I will see one in Tampa.

December 16, 1984 in Tampa against the Jets when I was 7 years old... went with my dad who had gotten tickets through someone at work.  That was John McKay's last game as head coach and they earned him a 41-21 win.  A day I'll never forget.

I loved that game Snook.   It was sad to see McKay go though.   I always liked him.

I went to a couple of games in '76 but was only 9 years old so don't remember much. I remember the parking lot and playing football between cars before we went in to see the game...

And with the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Teddy Bridgewater, Quarterback, Louisville.
