Myself? I'm a Dodger homer so I say Dodgers/Yankees.

Yanks/Angels have split season series 5-5, with 6 of those 10 games being in LA.

Dodgers lead season series vs. Phils 4-3, with 4 of those 7 games being in LA.

Add to that interleague, where the Phils took 2 of 3 from the Yanks in NY, with the Dodgers/Angels splitting 6 games. Each team going 2-1 in the other's house..

I want to see a Dodgers vs Yankees series. Two huge metro areas and Torre going up against his old team. I'd love to see LA knock off NY.

Whoa...shiver me ****in timbers!

If the Yankees go to the series my next door neighbor said he'll be all set to go to the ones in New York, because he's their pitching rehab coach and already has tickets lined up if they go. He did not offer to take me because he said his dad and brother in law both already have first dibs and wanna go.

Growing up in Tampa they were always big here because of Steinbrenner owning so many things here, and if you drive down Dale Mabry near RJS you'd swear that they were Tampa's home team.

They didn't start training here until the mid 1990's.  Several teams trained here prior to that.   Most notable the Cincinnati Reds.  Yankees have always had a big fan base every where.    They're not Tampa's original team.

Hopefully Phillies-Yankees.

Would be the best series to watch, IMO...

That's true because the Reds played at Al Lopez Stadium which used to stand where RJS does now in the Spring, so they also got alot of exposure in Tampa. But none the less Steinbrenner has owned a good chunk of this town for a long time and even has a high school named after him now, and waaaaay before the Rays came along I kept up with the Yankees even through all those horrible years in the late 80's to mid 90's & considered them to be our team. So now I will be rooting for them 100% the rest of the way and hopefully through the World Series.
