Wow! This move was totally unexpected, but also was a great trade! It reminds me of 2006 when Bruce Allen was able to get a 2nd rounder for Booger McFarland. I'm thinking we use that second round pick from Gaines to bring in Shawne Merriman.

I dont recall who we ended up with for that second round pick but that guy was NOT worth a 2nd.

The Bucs are overflowing with 6 sack a year defensive ends. They can spare one of them to hopefully better stock a thinner position, like corner.

This trade makes no sense for the Bears, they already have at least 2 DEs better than Adams.

I am sick of hearing the same broken record.  I skip those threads about Gruden/Dungy/draft picks almost entirely.

It is like listening to a broken record that sucks.

i'm disappointed.  i was hoping to see him turn it around.  i've always liked the guy and stuck up for him here.  i know he has really underachieved but he doesnt deserve the heavy criticism that is heaped upon him here.  its great to stockpile picks but what have you seen from this FO the last several years that gives you confidence we'll bring in someone good with those picks?
