Go back about 2-3 years and Minnesota's front line sucked along with their whole defense pretty much, but each year they have added a piece to it and Jared Allen would have made a big impact no matter what.

Funny thing about draft picks is that it all depends on the situations they arrive at.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Gaines Adams went nutz in Chicago.  It's all about your situations.

He may get a sack or two this season for them but I don't know about "going nuts" or anything like that.

I find it interesting that Gaines' production dropped off so badly this year.   He never was anything great, but the coaching last year was obviously superior for him.   He'll be going to the best in the business in Marinelli.   He seems like an immature (and not too bright) guy.   A coach like Marinelli is just what he needs.

Rod M needs to help Gaines develop some more inside moves. I always felt that he was predictable using one move. Oh and good call on Gaines lol

His production the last 5 games of last season were the same as the first 5 games of this season. Nice try.

LOL!   To be fair, how about the first 5 games of last season compared to the first 5 this year?

Gaines stinks and the same can be said about Michael Clayton and both would be 100% correct.

They will probably replace Gaines Adams' picture with Sean Mahan's. If not they might be arrogant enough to throw Freeman up there to all but guarantee bust status. If we trade Ruud we'll have to replace him too.  I think Faine should be put up there. He isn't too old (so can stay up there a bit), is a Captain, and signed to a long term deal. He also exemplifies the toughness that we are hoping to achieve.

i wouldn't mind the extra picks, but Dough Williams and the people who make our draft picks STINK ON ICE!    Why give up starters when you know theyre only gonna draft another "Dexter Jackson"
