Replacing Ruud with Merriman would be a downgrade.

I'd rather have Kampman. Less questions than Merriman.

Kampman is older but plays with the same emotion and hopefully that means he is a vocal leader, something we need.

Plus he should be a better value.

ditto proven rusher, a leader, and doesn't have the off the field issues that mr merriman has. i don't understand the merriman love

Kampman is strictly short term, not something to build with. He's 30 next month.
