Oh listening to Kirk Hebrstreit and Oregon State fans Id think Oregon would be overrated.
Don't you have to be good or considered a threat to be overrated?

Oregon is neither, can't remember when they were even in a national championship.

might wanna look where they stand in wins since the bcs era... better than bama
You might want to look up all time wins.......... and conference championships............... and bowl victories............... and............. well EVERYTHING.

Oregon should never be mentioned in the same breath as Alabama when talking in terms of relevance to the game of college football.

Bama's current season is going well, and they have to be in the national championship conversation. They even have a back sneaking his way into the Heisman discussion.

Oregon is relevant, because one of their players tried to beat up an entire stadium. Other than that, they are who they are......... Just another Pac 10 team not named USC, thus not worth mentioning.

Couldn't have said it better myself.

SInce you're talking history here, Alabama shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Princeton.... 28 MNC's!! That dwarfs Bama's measly 17 ....

since BCS era idiot.

Its like saying Oregon shouldnt be mentioned in the same breath as Washington in your world. 1970 has very little to do with today and 10 years ago. Oregon since the BCS era has been better than Bama... deal with it.

Whos Bama... oh yeah the team that lost to Utah, who Oregon beat. Atleast when we went to a BCS bowl we showed up and won.

Oregon is first in the pac-10... look it up.

Bama was in the national championship talk last year and CHOKED than got throttled on TV vs Utah.

We just pick and choose which timeframe to go with? You have picked a timeframe in which we have spent a number of years in turmoil.

Try and stay away from insulting the intelligence of anyone around here. You're complete lack of smarts is glaring with each of your posts.

Who's better right now?

As a whole, Oregon may have a better record in the BCS era, yet Bama has still been more relevant. Bama hiring Saban was bigger news to the college football world than just about anything that has occurred involving Oregon.

We'll see who wins the pac-10. An Oregon win would be refreshing. It's only been like 38 years sisnce someone other than USC won the pac-1

Nobody gave a crap about that worthless Utah game. It was completely meaningless. It's not like your recent ass whooping at the hands of Boise State. The one thing for which 2009 Oregon football will be remembered is getting smoked by Boise State, and trying to fight everybody in the stadium afterwards.

Bama played in the national championship game last year, only it was called the SEC Championship. They lost a tough game to the best team in football.

I don't remember exactly what Oregon did last year. Not many people do, because as usual, Oregon was completely irrelevant last year.

Dolorus Jason on a ban bet with me over the BCS Championship: \"You have your bet. I ain\'t scurred.\"- 12/8 \"Youre being banned from your own stupidity. Enjoy.\"-12/8 \"Prepare for your ban .\" -12/9 \"Miyagi gonna be banned.\"-12/9 \"Best bet I ever made ...\"-12/9 \"Miyagi mad , gettin banned.\"-12/9\"You mIght need a break from the board. Our bet should help you do just that.\"-12/10 11:38 AM
 \"The bet is off now.\"12/10 1:24 PM

Florida looks like it will get beat for sure at some point.....even if it's the National Championship.
Alabama almost lost to the Monte Kiffin defense in Tennessee....The Vols are going to be very good.
Ohio State will be ranked in the top 10 AGAIN for beating Minnesota?!.....why voting should never be allowed to decide a champion.
Cincy looks for real....still has Pitt & WVA to go through.

I wasn't too far off.  The ranking of college football is pointless; it simply doesn't work.
