a lot of the big 'Luke for president' posters have taken a big step back....but I noticed no one is really owning up to how bad off they were or are eating any crow....some people hate to admit when they are wrong....b y the way whos bench is Luke warming now.....and how about poor Cllayton...anybody still think he was worth 25 million....what a big mouth bum.
How's Jay Cutler doing? Didn't you say Dominik was an "idiot" for not getting that deal done?

How has any QB ever done in Chicago? That's where QB's and WR's go to die. Check out this list if you want to purge your breakfast, lunch and dinner for the last week.

It's an institutional problem up there.

The same can be said for our horrid past.

Cutler has played very poorly, but those WRs shouldn't start for anybody, the OL stinks, and Forte's game has totally collapsed. Outside of Greg Olsen, what's there to like?

Throw in a poor OC as well.

I dunno. I'd gladly take Doug Williams, Steve DeBerg, Chris Chandler, Vinny Testeverde, Steve Young and yes, even Jeff Garcia over most of the names on that list.

Heck, some of our crappy backups were better than some of their starters up there. They have no identity on offense. The only thing I've seen them do well in the past 30 years is run the ball and they can barely do that now.

While some can be blamed on other factors, quite frankly in watching the Bears play on several occasions it is quite clear that Cutler has also been making some very poor decisions and some very bad throws at times -- more than you might expect.

He's pressing and it's pretty obvious. He made at least 2 throws in the Red Zone that were horrific. Neither guy was close to open and he just tried to gun it in while staring them down. Very poor decisions is absolutely correct. If he avoids those and the Bears take 3 each time, they win 12-10. He single handedly cost them that game IMO.

AcuraT, isn't Lovie on the hot seat in large part because he took over the play-calling defensively and since that's happened, they've been getting crushed?

I think that is part of it.  The other thing is he has had a hand in the players they are getting as well.  Who else on the Bears wanted Gaines Adams - and for a second round draft pick to boot?  Jay Cutler is not getting the coaching he needs to improve his mechanics.  On Mike and Mike this morning, Ron Jawarski could not stop harping on that throughout his ten miinutes on the show.  For almost the whole time that was the only thing they could talk about considering how poorly Jay Cutler is now playing.

Shananah and those receivers were a big part of Cutler being worth 2 1's, a 3 and a QB.
