Lehr
The NFL on Tuesday suspended Falcons guard Matt Lehr for violating the league's policy on anabolic steroids and related substances.
Lehr is an integral part of a running game that averages 232.0 yards per game. The 6-2, 304-pounder is eligible to return to the team on Nov. 13.
"Obviously, we are disappointed, but the NFL's policies are very clear that all NFL players are responsible for what goes into their bodies -- regardless of the source," Falcons coach Jim Mora Jr. said. "We have options to replace Matt over the next four weeks that we are very comfortable with and will implement."
Tyson Clabo, who has not started a game in three seasons, is the backup to Lehr at left guard.
Atlanta (3-2) is in third place in the NFC South.
