You can't overstay 2 National Championships, 12 ACC titles, 37 winning seasons, 14 straight ten win seasons, 14 straigh seasons in the top 5, and the likes of Warrick Dunn, Derrick Brooks, Geno Hayes, and a slew of other succesful NFL players.  TK Wetherell and Randy Spetman are punks and they had the nerve to tell the man who not only built the football program but half the univeristy to hang it up.  Bobby Bowden thanks for the memoires, Jimbo your on the hotseat.

LSU's overall offense, before and after Fisher:

2006:  12th  (with Fisher)
2007:  23rd  (without Fisher)

LSU's offense dropped every year since Fisher left, while FSU's continues to get better.

Bowden denies retirement reports

Both ESPN.com and the Tallahassee Democrat are reporting that Bobby Bowden will announce his retirement Tuesday morning.

According to both Bowden and his wife Ann, however, nothing regarding the legendary coach's future has been decided.

Speaking to the Associated Press, Bowden said he's still weighing several options presented to him during a one-hour meeting with the school's president and athletic director earlier today.  His wife confirmed as much, saying nothing has been finalized and "that's why they're meeting tomorrow."

Another meeting between the three is scheduled for tomorrow, after which Bowden will announce what his future will be at the school.

What does... if Chip Kelly was offered the job he would jump on it, translate to hes a top flight coach? Or that Chip Kelly>Jimbo Fisher. And Chip Kelly will be a finalist for coach of the year and if he wins the pac-10 he will be COY in the Pac... not bad for a 1st year coach.

They have a state full of talent. They have players in that state that want to play there. They have a good fan base and what I understand good facilities. They play in a conference they can dominate.

2) Texas
3) ?


You could turn FSU around very fast

Top 5... as in places to coach.
