Who knows if those facts are accurate, but if they are it is absurd to suggest that the cop "executed" the kid, as several have suggested in this thread.

Is he dead?  Did he receive a fair trial?  Are there no options in between "halt" and shoot to kill?

Look, no one knows the facts yet, but IF the facts are once-mugged police officer with fractured face, assailant who tried to take his gun previously now charging form 30-40 feet . . . . there are probably NO options other than SHOOT and you do not shoot a gun other than  to kill, so "shoot to kill" means little as a distinction.

But, let me ask it, do you hold the assailant accountable in any way for his "execution"?

Mind me asking what size you got?  I am 6' 185.  I was thinking about the 44, but wasn't sure if I needed to go up to the 48.

Thanks,

Since we dont have another QB to evaluate this year, I will present this simple modus ponens:

If two QBs are equal then we should play the younger one.

Both QBs are equal so we will play the younger one.

I think you meant "should". Or are you making another bet that you'll welch on? Perhaps your next screen name should be "10lbguppy" or maybe "10ozpuffer".

I'm hoping Tedford's system isn't a joke, too...

NFL team plays plain vanilla offense in preseason . . .  . so, this is why we are doomed?

You're right...But you have to recognize this fact about this board...

Most of the "fans" here, watch the ball instead of the football game....

I'm hoping that was a joke, Calico.

Thanks Booker...

This is the epitome of preseason legend here:

"...The most painful anecdote was dug up a couple of years ago by Chase Stuart, who noted that Ryan Leaf received plenty of plaudits for his work
during the 1999 preseason, including an exhibition game in the critical Week 3 in which Leaf went 15-of-24 for 172 yards with both a passing
and–– rushing touchdown. The opposing starter went 11-of-21 for 123 yards with two picks, showing that he — rookie Peyton Manning — wasn’t the real McCoy.

I was a big believer in Peyton and very much anti-Ryan Leaf. I remember watching that preseason game (the SD one) at a sports bar and thinking - man, maybe I was really wrong.

After the obvious top 2 I'm more comfortable with Murphy than I am with Streeter or Owusu, I don't care if you tear it up in practice if you can't go out there and do something in a game.

You are confusing glorified scrimmages with games.

And you are ignoring sample sizes. What if after the first half of week 1 in 2012, Schiano had said, "I like Doug Martin in practice, but he's not doing anything in the game. Cut him Dom."
