Atlanta is now the gay capital of the U.S. surpassing S.F. Is that how the Annus stuff got stuffed?

FRG, you chose to make arguments as you see fit, if you chose the most extreme examples all the time, such as drafting a HOFer, then so be it . . . not very compelling to me, but we differ.
Again, only one team wins the Super Bowl each year. It's not easy. To do it you have to make the best moves your team has ever made. Drafting Hall of Fame players is part of it.
Note: "is part of it." Keeping in mind this discussion is about taking Revis as opposed to using the 13th pick, you made this comment after Chace commented on how rare it is to get ELITE talent (i.e. Revis) with a pick: No one says it's easy, but if you want to win a Super Bowl, that's what you have to do. If the Bucs traded their 1995 1st round pick for a "proven" player, they don't win the Super Bowl. End of story.
"what you have to do" as opposed to now "part of it" . . . and then the "have to do" hypothetical you picked for giving up the 13th for Revis was the drafting of Warren Sapp. . . . a first ballot HOFer. You could have chosen a bunch of 1st round picks by the Bucs but you equated giving this years 13th with missing out on a HOFer. Like I said, you make the arguments you see fit. Since you like math so much, at best the Bucs gave up a "1 in "x" chance of drafting a HOFer. How many 1st round picks have the Bucs had in their history . . . we have Sapp abd Selmon . . and soon Brooks . . . what's the math?

Take a look around the league at the good teams. Do they trade their 1st round picks for vets? Are they good primarily because they drafted good?

1. Yes, your kind of a **CENSORED** 2. We've played these guys for about half a season, Morgan less. Guess we should have let Bennett go after his 1st year. I mean no one ever gets any better with coaching and experience right? 3. We need a pass rush, which is why we've invested so highly in our defensive lineman. It's time for those guys to payoff. It's their show, all the pressure on them. Playing is the only way to get better 4. DTN was better at years end than beginning and Morgan showed nice speed and burst off the edge in his first game he got any significant playing time against the broncos. If I remember correctly he caused one of the only pressures of the day on Peyton Manning. Pull that up and look at it. He has burst and initial quickness. It was impressive. Will he develop into anything? Who knows, but I for one would like to see him given a slightly bigger role and according to our coaches who are trying to work him into pass rush situations, I'm not completely wrong.
1. You are certainly one to talk. Initially responding to a post flinging insults or name calling doesn't make you any less of a **CENSORED** than I. 2. DTN played the entire season. No one is talking about letting anyone go. We are talking about adding a player with recent experience and success to come in and add tot he rotation. DTN is what he is, so is Morgan. Adding a player like Idonije bolsters the DL, to not do so because you fear taking snaps away from scrubs like Morgan in hopes that they can beat the odds and go from scrub to prominent role player overnight...well that is certainly not the way I would go. 3. I don't disagree with that...it's time for Bowers and Clayborn to step up, stay on the field, and actually show something. The best 4-3 pass rushing teams, though, have pretty good options at their #3 and #4 DE spots. Right now, we don't have good options there...we very well could be mid-season, but right now, we don't. 4. DTN was bad all season when rushing the passer. The positive with him is that he was good vs. the run. Statement still stands, he would be a decent #4 option. Like I said with Morgan...if he were on any other team, we would be looked at for what he truly is..roster filler. Since he is in a Bucs uni, though, the homers salivate over one play. Someone has got to root for the fringe players, I guess.

#1 isn't a BS Argument, it's reality. If this team stinks, there most likely will be a house cleaning and everyone goes. There will be a new GM, there will be a new HC, and odds are, they will want to go get their own guy. Sure, it's possible they like Glennon and might be fine with him. Odds are though, they'll go get their own guy. Freeman is a free agent and a mediocre QB who's shown virtually no improvements in his problem areas. What new GM or HC will want to come in off a season where the team just finished with 6 or less wins and re-sign the starting QB who has 1 winning season in 5 years? No one is going to do that. What I think would happen is that the new regime would put a 1st & 3rd round tender on him and trade him for a 2nd or 3rd round pick.
#2. I don't necessarily think so, not at first anyway. Orlavsky can play in this league... how good is debateable, but he can play. Glennon needs to be worked with before he can take snaps in a regular season game. Is 1 offseason where virtually every rep is going Freeman enough? I'd be against it. If Freeman gets hurt in the first 6-8 weeks, Orlavsky will most likely be the go-to-guy.
#3. That's not a run and repeat forever. If 2013 is similar to last year or slightly better (1 or 2 more wins), everyone will get 1 more year... I think. But, 2014 is win or go home. Anything short of playoffs and everyone is gone.
If there is a new regime next season and the Bucs had 6 wins or less, they're likely to get a top 8 pick. At that point, if you need to trade up, you do it. All the teams picking in the top 8 don't need new QB's all the time.
"Additionally wasting 1st rounders on busted QBs does not make it any better." <-- Just like Freeman you mean? At some point you need to take a run at a guy you believe is "Franchise" caliber.
1. A 3-4 defense should not draft a 3-4 NT, since they might be gone after the season, and then switching to 4-3? Wasted pick? 2&3 we both specualate here, so w/e Yes, another 1st round waste like Freeman, when you can just extend the real Freeman instead, or let the maybe similar guy called Glennon play. Even if we get a top8 pick, team above us might not be willing to give up on a prospect like A Luck, maybe or its another weak QB class, especially after the 1-2 QBs taken.

"Obviously the coaching staff doesn't agree with you and they're risking their jobs."
Then perhaps we should mindlessly agree with every decision you make, Raheem.
Well Adolph, it appears some things are simply beyond your comprehe............understanding. Bottom line....they're there.........you're not. Oh yeah, they're paid for their opinions and.........you're not. I'm not either.........but I certainly trust their opinions over yours, or the rest of the trolls on this board.

Barron runs shlt over at One Buc :
He sits in whatever damn chair he wants. You are a HOFer who wants his number? Pay 50 grand. He wants #23 ? Cough it up for free , Myron.
What a boss.
That is great lol

Lebron is better than Jordan...he has the greatest court awareness that I've seen....he sees everything. Jordan forced himself...Lebron forces his team.
