It isn't a competition. It is now officially over and Simms knows it just like everyone else does.

Not sure what you don't understand. The pick is conditional.

It isn't a competition. It is now officially over and Simms knows it just like everyone else does.

I agree to a point.  Obviously, it seems that Jeff Garcia is the starter, hands down.  But if Chris does enough to outplay him in the Preseason and TC, don't think Gruden has given up on him yet.  This will be a very interesting offseason for QB's.
