i know we wont pull the trigger, but i definitely think we should pull the trigger on him. i think he has at least 4 years left. this would draw immediate ticket sales and boost the morale of all the fans here. I could see us winning the division and being a serious contender in the playoffs with him at the qb position.  He never really has had a consistent wide receiver core anyways lol it wouldnt be the first time he had to make all the plays. it would also give freeman more time to watch and learn. what say you?

If he plays for 4 years, all that money we pay Freeman will be out the window - since he'd be a FA.

If this were 2 years ago, I'd be all for it. But not now. We gotta ride Freeman and see where it goes.

Quit beefing about the past and start hoping for the future

Because of all the rings he brought to the city of Philadelphia, I can see why you think that. Good point.

How is McNabb going to fix the defense or run game? Or the fact that our receivers aren't that good. Freeman has already had a year to learn, we have to stick with him another 2 years and see if he's our guy.

I'm tired of older QBs, for once I actually want a franchise guy. Freeman may not be it, but going around filling the spot with 33 year old QBs isn't going to be much better.

This is what I'm talking about. All these goobers think with one fell swoop of the pen that the Glazers can make us an instant winner and they are bitter because that is not whats going on. We got this way from years of bad management and bad money spent. Don't spend bad money to chase a pipe-dream in these goobers minds that we are 1 player away or a couple FA from 9-7.

and if you think there defense was awesome at any point your smoking crack....our defense has always been better than the saints. and the receivers they had were definitely picked up in a yr in the draft. so think on that for a second. worst to first has happened plenty of times.

How old was Drew Brees at the time? Did the Saints have a 2nd year 1st round pick QB at the time? ............mmmm chew on that for a second
