That Green goal screams destiny for a USA win.

IF that happens - Green better go home hunting in South Africa... and I hope you're right about the US destiny

This is a great game - mute the tv if you have to.... I completely understand.

US getting dominated in the 2nd half and relying a little bit too much on Howard.

Cue the Eruzione goal.

Ahem.... I don't know what you're watching Joe - the US had at least two really good chances right on goal.

Well - I guess you'd have to say this was an upset. Thanks Green!

Wow - what an odd game - great game by Howard, not so much some of the defenders - but the result is fine.  US is in a better than anticipated position to move to the next round.

It is when you tie a clearly superior team (excluding the keeper).

Just seen the result, well done USA. Was watching Argentina v Scotland at Rugby but had a friendly bet with an English friend about the USA v England match being a draw.. turns out the bookies over here were offering 3-1 odds on a draw.. wish I'd placed a bet.

Great result, nice to take a point off the most arrogant team at the tourney. Onyewu was a beast, man of the match for sure.

USA had a chance when the ball deflected off of the post in the 2nd half....   USA goalie stood on his head today.  USA played well, a draw is a decent result. They do not play until Friday against Slovenia and the Brits get Algeria. I do not ususally follow soccer but the second half of this game was pretty interesting to watch, both teams wanted the win. Its much like an olympic sport in that most will follow with interest during the event and then shelve it for 4 years: like curling, bobsledding, skiing were followed a few months ago in Canada.

Their defense is awful, but you gotta love the result
