Wow. That is pretty sad. Wondering why the people sitting way up in the 300 level even started out in their original seats. Plenty of chances to move down closer it looks like.

I can answer that from a 300 level perspective, we didnt think it was going to be THAT empty ... kept looking out into the parking lots expecting a horde of people walking towards the stadium ....

a lot of season ticket holders dont bother going to pre-season games...   they have better things to do on a Saturday night than overpay to watch two of the worst teams in the NFL play each other

That photo is an early one.  If you had taken it by end of first quarter there were way way more people in the stands.  Everyone around me estimaged 30K give or take a few Ks.  Also, the people who were there were having a great time and were very involved in cheering.  I was by the end zone with the ship at the end of the game when the Bucs D made 4 goal line stands and stopped the Chiefs from scoring ( except then we gave them a safety.)  The D clearly picked up energy with all the cheering and fan support and got the job done.

Maybe there werent enough fans there for preseason....but those of us who were there were very involved with the plays, the players etc.

Just sayin....

30k for an NFL game (even preseason) is pathetic.   Over the years, there have always been about 40,000 die hard Buc fans in Tampa.   I think that number is a little lower now since the hiring of Raheem.   He's driven away even some of the most loyal fans.

they're not fans......not A SINGLE COACH can stop me from being a buc fan.

I just can't see my boy Tebow playing in any other jersey except the ol' Bucs.  If someone else ends up stealing him from us I will have a hard time staying a hardcore Bucs fan for life.
