The thought in Biggs argument is valid - easier to move from a cover LB type to safety, maybe.  Easier to move from a receiving RB to a slot guy, maybe.  Now it is just down to cases, i.e. the specific player

I was just readin that Devine ran a 4.34 at his pro day and benched 225lbs 27 times. If this is true I think his stock just shot back up to at least a mid round guy.

He is 5' 8 3/8" not 5'5". Wes Welker is 5' 8 5/8" for comparison.

...and his hands are 8.5 inches. Not sure how much any of this matters, but I thought I'd offer up the info.

doesnt welker have about 30 lbs on devine?

Devine was 180lbs at the combine and 179lbs at his proday. Welker is listed at 185lbs.
Welker was 195 lbs at the Combine in 2004.

FRG is the most logical poster on this board.  You guys just don\'t like where the logical conclusions take you.

I don't know why every year people get caught up in the smurf types... they rarely amount to much in the league.

There's not really a player that can move like Noel Devine can every year,

So why did he go undrafted?

I'm liking that idea the more I think about it. I like the McCluster idea. Put him in the slot on first and second down, and move him to running back on third down.
