I say no to Jeff Demps. He is closer to C.J Spiller than Darren Sproles. He is a track star with no wiggle. We need an immediate playmaker. And unless someone blows an assignment and he can just fly straight ahead then he is useless.

Doug Martin is every bit as good as Trent Richardson. Yeah....I said it. Possibly the best RB in the draft. If he's there in the 3rd he would be a ridiculous steal.

Ummm....dude....I like you....you're a cool dude...but that's ONE of the dumbest things I've read on this board....and that is really saying a lot...

...but you're certainly entitled to your opinion.

Nope. Cut him yesterday. Rumor is he was dropping passes in practice.

It's all good. I fully expected to get all these responses when I posted this. And I fully expect to pull this thread up a year from now and laugh at everyone who said I was an idiot.

Spann was brought in to be that pass catching back so if he was dropping passes that would explain his quick departure.

I watched. I say a solid 4th round RB.

I'd agree. 3rd or 4th right now. I'm just hoping he stays there. Another season like last year would put him in the 2nd round.

Finished the year with six 100+ rushing games in a row, then blew up the Maaco Bowl with 300+ all purpose yards. Probably going to be a late 2nd early 3rd at this point. A lot og good RBs this year, maybe he'll slip. I would be ecstatic to get him in the 3rd.

On a side note, Chad Spann has been activated to the Steelers roster and is the #2 RB for this week's playoff game in Denver. Go Go Supa Spann!

Doug Martin is really good in the passing game. He reminds of a slightly more compact Forte. I think he will go close to the same time Forte did in the draft, middle to late second. I think he'd be a great pick for the Bucs even as early as the top of the 2nd, although even better if they can trade down and get him still. He's the only Rookie RB that I think can be reliable on 3rd down from day 1, and this team is hurting for that guy right now.
