You know you are a racist IF:

You disagree with anything Obama
You don't like Government Waste
You think there is too much fraud in entitlement programs
You dared to read at least part of the Obamacare bill before making a decision about it.
You are registered Republican
You think too much debt is bad
You work more than 30 hours per week
You don't like some govt regulations
You think a trillion dollar plus deficit is ridiculous
You think defending yourself, your family, or your home is acceptable
You don't think Travon Martin is a hero and a saint
You have ever said anything positive about police
You don't think 18 months of unemployment comp is sufficient
You agree with any point made by the "Tea Party"
You think people earning over $125k don't need to be taxed exorbitantly
You believe that success should come from hard and smart work
You started a business and you have the audacity to think "You built it"

In addendum to Galt's list;

You think there might be some problems with Affirmative Action, both pratically and morally
You think the sins of the father should not be held against the son (PC addition: substitute mother for father and daughter for son)
You are slightly puzzled by 95% of blacks voted for a black man and race not being a factor
You wonder if 20 years in Rev. Wrights church might have left a small impression on the President's political philosophy
You delight in informing a young black man that Martin Luther King was a Republican and seeing the utter shock in their eyes

Ya'll a bunch of Hank Hill's up in here. Stop judging other people, you know nothing about

As for the phones.. Do you know how much money is actually put into that? Towers already exist and the phones they give you are cheapies.. I think those who keep bringing it up are pretty narrow minded. I can see your point, but find some other cliche to harp on over and over.

Well good sir, the way I see it is this. The moment you receive one penny of my money, you become liable to telling you how it should and should not be spent. Just the way it is. Don't want me looking over your shoulder? Don't take it. As far as me judging these peope? Your damn right I am. Do you give your child a allowance? Are you interested in how they spend it? How about when you donate money? Are you interested in how the charity uses the money?

As far as the cell phones go, I can assure you these were not "cheapies". I also think that one penny is to much for this program giving cell phones out. You tell me, just from a common sense point, why you would want to work, probably a less than ideal job, if your government would give you money for rent, money for food, a cell phone, and spending money? At some point when the benefits to not working outweigh the benefits to working, everyone will stop working. Then what? How about when 12% thinks that? How about when 15% think that? See my point?

I believe many people today need to be pushed to want to do better for themselves and will not do it on their own. They get a place to live, food and extra money. For some that is all they need to feel comfortable. Why would they do anything else? This is not everyone. As I've said before there are people that fall on hard times and need the help. I have no issue helping them. But I lose my generosity very quickly when I feel I'm being taken advantage of.

Nah, he wasn't even paying attention. Who knew that being able to listen to a guy for twenty years and never quite catching on to what he was saying was a presidential quality?

Illuminator is a good poster. He sticks to his guns and makes good points. Some don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t like that.

In 2008, the program was expanded to support cell phones which quickly escalated the cost of the program. In 2008 the program cost $772 million, but by 2011 it cost $1.6 billion.

Rev. Wright is an american hero. You're just bitter and jealous.

religion is answers that may never be questioned

Perhaps you should tell that young black man the whole story. About half of African Americans were Republican back then, with a majority of them being in the south in opposition to the "Dixiecrats", racist white southerners who voted primarily for the Democratic party. The epic shift occurred after the passing of the Civil Rights Act by LBJ, and the subsequent courting of the white racist vote by the Republican party as part of Nixon's "Southern Strategy".

They should replace Washington with Wright on the dollar bill.

According to some here, if someone uses food stamps at the grocery store then drives off in a newer car it's an indicator of welfare fraud.

I happened to be visiting a friend today at his business which is located in front of a church. Apparently every Friday the church gives away free groceries....I am told they give away the groceries to anyone, no questions asked.

It was amazing how many newer vehicles were in line to get those free groceries. I brought it up to him and he tells me the new cars are there every single week. In fact I noticed that AT LEAST 80% of the vehicles were newer.

Using the same logic as others on here, these people apparently w/ enough money to drive a new vehicle were abusing the largess of the church to take food out of the mouths of those in real need. You know..the haves taking food out of the mouths of the have nots.

I know the straight-line libertarians are big on the community support aspect of providing for the needy. I just wonder how they would deal w/ the non-needy abusing a community-supported welfare system...

...or maybe, the vehicles they were driving aren't an indicator of how well off they really are......and we should be careful jumping to conclusions based on first blush.......Nah... that couldn't be it.....I'm sure.

Please feel free to insert your obligatory "apple to dump truck" non-sequiturs, here. ::)

Most of welfare should be regulated.  Drug tests and job training.  Otherwise,  you are simply rewarding failure and oppressing people even further.

Are they on welfare? Does that account for the ones that don't show because they knew they wouldn't pass?
