Another clock is ticking on Tiger Woods. It is five years and counting since his last victory in a major.

Lefty's clock shows he's 10 majors behind Tiger Woods.

Wonder how he's going to make that up -

Six runner-ups at the US Open....ouch.

What might have been.......

It just dawned on me.

The Bucs have more Super Bowl Championships than Lefty has US Open Championships.

Might be Tiger's time, seems he doesn't need to use a driver...

Looked windy as hell there.   One minute a guy is a couple shots below par.   Then before you can blink an eye, he is 2 over.

One of the golfers, I don't recall who it was, said the 18th hole was a joke.  They should have installed a windmill and a clowns face there.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

It's the greens - seems and R&A decided they would like the green cut like like the US Open does.  Also appears they hate using water to keep the grass alive - so the speed of the greens are ridiculously fast for the slopes of the greens, and some areas of the greens are much slower than others.  I guess it is the same for everyone - but a lot of the skill is missing.

The crazy distances from tee shots is consistent with seaside golf  - when the course is dry the fairways are like concrete... so the ball runs forever (or until it reaches the rough or a trap - lol)  All in all it makes for big score swings...
