Anyone checking out TDKR this weekend?

Just got my ticket for Saturday in IMAX. Hope it doesn't disappoint, everything that I have read says it won't.

I saw that movie.    It was a long and tedious bore fest.   I wouldn't recommend that movie to anyone.   Not even on DVD.

I honestly thought it was a perfect conclusion to the Nolan series. Was it long?...sure...but the last half kind of flew by IMO...and it needed to be lengthy to close it out properly. Most people don't think it is as good as The Dark Knight...that's fine...but this, to me, was a quality film and I would recommend it to anyone who like the previous two movies.

Actually the problem isnt that Freeman stinks. He is average. He puts up good numbers just often enough to make you think he is better than he is. Bad and great are convincing. But mediocre makes you live with the delusion for too many years. He is just good enough to waste our time and not good enough to get us where we want to go.

I liked the Dark Knight, but not Batman Begins.

I know I'm in the minority since almost everyone I talked to loved the Dark Knight, but I wasn't a big fan of it.
I actually really liked Batman Begins but thought The Dark Knight was just ok. Honestly don't even really remember much about it. Think I remember it being a lot of drama.
Part of me wants to see the new one with the special effects and everything that was shown, but another part of me is thinking.. ANOTHER Batman movie. Kind of getting
tired of them at this point. It may sound ironic but having just said that I'm looking forward to the next X-men movie more when it comes out.

Lol...just returned this to redbox this morning. While "the purge" was rather entertaining....the plot was a mess.

I had pretty high expections because of the good reviews...I think it was in the low 90s on Rotten Tomatoes...

....as BB85 said...it's "out there".

Really liked 'Cabin In The Woods.' Probably not for the average viewer.

Illuminator is a good poster. He sticks to his guns and makes good points. Some don\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t like that.

I tried to like it.. And even attempted to defend it to my girlfriend while we were watching it.. But it just was TOO out there..

Why did you like it? (just curious)
