Absolutely phenomenal start to the end. Holy hell.

I saw this on Twitter before. Anyone notice how Walter takes on the characteristics of those he's killed, like when he put the towel under his knees to puke like Gus did. Makes me think Walt may kill Skylar because his new identity character has her maiden name.

I thought it was a great start as well, funny when Jessie lit up in S's office.

What do you mean by this?  I don't want to miss anything, love this show.

I saw this on twitter and there is a very interesting theory out there. Walter takes on different characteristics or parts of those that he kills.

^ This show continues to blow my mind. Dear god.

The Hank/Walt garage scene literally gave me chills.

**CENSORED**ing awesome start to the second half of the season. My guess is Walter fakes his own death and thats why the neighbor was so shocked to see him. Any guesses who the ricin cigarette is for?

Carol, the neighbor, looked more scared for her own life than shocked at seeing him alive.  Besides Jessie, who even smokes?

He just grabbed the little vial of ricin. It wasn't in a cigarette so I have no idea who it's for.

5.9 mil viewers.  Top rated cable show for the week.  Kicking Pawn Star's arse.

Comparing BB's 3.6 mil to last weeks top 25 prime time ratings adults 18-49, Breaking Bad would be number 1.  The Bachelorette the number 1 show had 3.3 mil.   In 2008 when it debuted BB had about 1.4 mil viewers.  Sundays numbers were more than double what the premiere if season 5 had.

On talk radio they were debating the best TV show ever.   It was pretty evenly split between Breaking Bad, and the Sopranos.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

I admittedly (and embarrassingly) have never watched The Sopranos, but I have heard that Breaking Bad is really the only show to take a character and really change him drastically throughout the story. As Vince Gilligan has said. "Taking Mr. Chips and turning him into Scarface."

They are both great shows.  I will wait to see how they wrap up Breaking Bad, before picking a winner.

It's just constantly intense. What a crazy ride its been so far. I remember when Walt was some sad teacher and now he's a drug king pin fighting for his life. Wow.
