However, as much as I dont really understand the purpose of these images of women and their relationship to Buc football, I do understand freedom of speech and expression, even if you do come off as a lonely perverse individual. I mean this is America right? ;)

Free speech and expression you allude to does not apply on these boards.

FTW. I have seen your opinions on censorship and what not...and I get that you are trying to make some sort of a statement with the latest sig....hell, I wish that there werent issues with my former sig cause I would love to have that back...

...but you are about to force PRs hand into removing sigs from the message boards altogether.

I will kindly ask....Would you please "self police" before this happens?

Well said Chace.

this will be my last post. i had no idea that PR is sponsored or supported by todd adult video. this is nothing personal against PR or any of its members and im not trying to be "pc". what i am tryin to do is teach my 14 year old son, who is at an age where he will begin to interact with the opposite gender in school and social settings, and i am trying to teach him to respect women and girls his age and its kind of hard to do that when he goes on a 'all ages' sports talk forum and is subjected to pics of half naked women and adult video store advertisements. This has not been a big issue either until the last thread related to this subject was posted by a PR admin and still nothing has been done. my son knows better and this probably wont degrade his view of respect towards women but it just may spark something small in his brain that eventually could be his very way of thinking with views of women and sex, and i would rather be the one to sit down and maturely explain these things to him, rather than have an ALL AGES SPORTS FORUM expose him to pics his eyes and mind are not mature enough to differentiate. it doesnt matter though im totally deleting my membership, i refuse to subscribe to pewter insider again, and i will be having talks with my other associates who frequent this forum and subscribe, who also have children my son's age and share my views on the situation. my hope is that PR sees this and does something about it. enjoy your forum and your porn sigs

PR advertises as a family site - the sponsor is inconsistent with a family site.

There are lots worse things to see on line.  I don't believe that is the point.

Burgbucs just did use his parental controls, to avoid what he feels are inappropriate photos from showing up on his screen.  And he went a step farther in explaining to the owners of this site why he is choosing not to be a customer.  Being critical of a father who is acting to protect his kids seems a bit over the top, even if one doesn't agree with him.
I agree 100% as a father myself I have had to explain to my 17 year old son that many women will enter his life and completely disrespect him, so turnabout is fair play.

Unfortunately, I do not get to see these adds. Chrome + adblock = win (or lose in this case)

Couple things...

1. If your teenage son frequents the internet, a bare bottom is not the worst he's seen by a long long shot
2. If you find something offensive, remove yourself from it.
3. If you don't find it offensive but don't want your kid to see it, block it. You don't want him looking at smut on the internet so I'm sure you have many many other sites blocked, right?

Hilarious.  Your 14 y/o son most likely watches internet porn already.  In fact, I'm sure some woman ass on here didn't even bother him at all.

One assumes, based on some of the comments here, that all children are raised the same way and what they do in their early teen years is the same for most.

Having raised 4 of my own, I can assure you that is not always the case.

If I didn't live in Tampa, I am not so sure that the banner for Todd's would want me to click on it. It also has a warning , if you do-unlike the sigs on here where the reader can't control what he sees. Even if that poster is blocked, it still may show in succeeding posts.

Don't know why some are so insistent on pushing the issue. It's a lot easier for PR to block all sigs than it is to fix the program to allow selective blocking by the poster. So stop pushing the issue so the rest of us are not punished.

PR asked the members of their board to clean up the sigs. Some acquiesced. Some chose to debate the issue. Some stomped their signature feet about it.

PR should deal with it.

because posters here would rather argue than talk Bucs football.

This argument keeps being presented, but it's not the point.  The point is we come on here for football talk and should not have to worry about the kinds of GIF's and pics that were being used as sig's.  This board should be a place where those gif's and pic's should have to be explained to wives and children.

The other erroneous argument is about Todd's couple store being an advertiser.  As questionable as that is from my perspective, the ads aren't nearly as risque as the those gif/pic's were.  I've never had to explain that ad banner to anyone.

LOL, how is this a discussion? PR told people to remove the pictures, remove the pictures. If you honestly believe it's hypocritical that they allow The Todd to advertise, tough. It's their site, it isn't a democracy. They can be hypocritical if they want.

Also, the majority of the responses to the OP were full of jackassery.

There\'s a very real chance the Bucs waive [Revis] before next season. At the very least, it will be a discussion worth having.
