Link please.  I have yet to see any evidence.  Just hearsay on this board.

Here ya go.....

Lofton said, "I wanted to go to a team that, No. 1, had a chance to win a Super Bowl, had true fans, a great defensive coordinator."

And I said, 'No, what I'm set on is winning games and winning championships.

"Our main thing was we wanted to win," Lofton said.

Is that enough?

. That's not what I was asking for.  I know he said those things.  I wanted proof that we tried to sign him.  I havent received it yet.

So in other works jjdub you don't know.  And him saying he wanted to go to a winner is what you would expect a fa to say when they didn't get the big contract offers they had expected.

I also read an article where he said exactly that "he wanted to go to a winner and the Aints provided the best chance for him to win a SB".
. He wanted to get paid.  Everything else is bullspit.

20+ sports news sites reported we had made an offer to Lofton. The Bucs never denied it. If that's not enough proof then I don't know what to say. It's not like the GM or HC is going to come out and say "Yes we wanted this guy but he chose another team over us."
