We held our fantasy draft the other day.  Every person in that league lives in Tampa now or did in the past and views the Bucs as their favorite team.   Josh Freeman went undrafted.   He was drafted in 2009, 2010, and 2011, but this year - not.   And this year the Bucs have more offensive weapons than they have had any of those years.    Sure it's a small sampling, but in my opinion, that speaks volumes about what the fans think of Freeman these days.    The confidence level in him is very low.   If he stinks it up opening day, look for some serious backlash against Freeman from the fans.

Are you saying Freeman is less desirable than a current backup QB?

Keep in mind, these are Buc fans who take players simply because they are Bucs.    If Tebow was the Bucs starting QB, I guarantee 100% that he would have been drafted.   Josh Freeman is the starting Bucs QB, and he was not drafted.   That is a real indicator that Tampa fans have no faith in Freeman.     Every starting skill player for the Bucs was picked except for Freeman.

Little defensive .. Lol so I guess he was not
Seems fan confidence of tebow has dropped a lot . I mean last year he was the greatest thing in earth. Now not even drafted talk about a huge fall

So you are saying confidence in Freeman's production is equal to confidence in Tebow's as a backup QB for the Jets?     I guess that's pretty accurate.    It speaks volumes as well that you could compare Freeman to Brees, Newton or Ryan in his same division, instead you compare him to a backup QB in the AFC...

Im not a big Freeman fan but even if I was these are the QBs id have ranked above him in fantasy:

1) Brady
2) Rodgers
3) Brees
4) Newton
5) Stafford
6) Ryan
7) Vick
8 ) Manning
9) Manning
10) Griffin
12) Big Ben
13) Cutler
14) Luck
15) Flaco

then I'd take Freeman. I may have missed some people too.

By the way, every starting QB in the NFC south other than Freeman was picked.

The funniest pick was the guy who always wears a Freeman jersey to the games.   He had the 2nd to last pick in the draft and needed a backup QB.    He took Andy Dalton instead of Freeman.   LOL!

By the way, you list is missing Romo.  He's top 10 in my opinion.

Oh and I drafted Tebow, because he's awesome for fantasy football and will probably start at some point in the season

Why would you draft freeman in fantasy, he rarely throws the ball farther than 10 yards and has no accuracy if he does. And is scared to run.. Better off taking another backup RB

Yea Romo should be after the Mannings. Freeman > Dalton tho. He does have Vjax, Williams, and Martin.

Nope  talking about freeman at all never mentioned his name once.. Your putting words into my mouth. You can't compare the two like you said one is a stater and one is a backup..

Good pick.   At the hint of him starting, he'll be picked up immediately in our league without a doubt.
