Quick Take: Bucs-Broncos has plenty of intrigue

NFL.com and NFL Network reporter Ian Rapoport has his thoughts on the game:

Week 13 primer:

Ranking games in order of intrigue

Why this game is intriguing: There is no traditional rivalry, no history, no stake in a divisional race that will play out on Sunday in Denver. Just two really good teams with contrasting styles attacking one another the way they do best. Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos, with a playoff berth just one win away, can go after one of the NFL's most giving secondaries -- a unit that won't have Eric Wright, as he begins his four-game suspension. Meanwhile, the run-heavy Tampa Bay Buccaneers will go old-school against the new-fangled Broncos, pounding it right at them with the "Muscle Hamster," Doug Martin. If Denver can limit the big plays, all should be well. But Tampa Bay has plenty to play for, with the final NFC playoff spot bouncing around like a pinball. At the least, this is a battle between two of the NFL's hottest teams, with the Broncos on a six-game winning streak and the Bucs having won four of five.

...and it's suppose to be 65 degrees in Denver, in December.

Man, the news gets better. I didn't know they were one win away from playoff birth.

The odds really aren't in Tampa's favor this time IMO.

Naismith was right about Revis. Everyone else is a dummy.

Now sure about intrigue.  I just hope they are competitive.  And can stay in the game until the end.  Keep Manning somewhere south of the 400 mark.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

Lynch is doing the game also. Kinda cool since he played for both.

Intrigue?

I do not think that word means what he thinks it means.
