Yeah....Reed does seem kinda stupid.

As a big time Gator fan I have to agree.  But damn is that kid talented.  Like my dad always told me though...... you can't fix stupid.

Jimmie Johnson and Bellicheat said that's the #1 lesson they learned coaching.

And I agree. I had never watched him talk in an interview. Was just going off tape. He's very gifted physically.....but he seems like one of those guys that just doesn't get it, and never will.

Way too early, and too difficult to say before franchise tags are placed, but I hope our offseason goes something like this:
Resign Bennett and Miller (but do not overspend for either)
Sign Sean Smith CB
Sign Glover Quin FS
Sign Dustin Keller or Marcellus Bennett TE

Draft (based on positions projected on nfldraftscout.com):
1. Sheldon Richardson DT
2. Logan Ryan CB
3. Jamie Collins OLB
4a. Leon McFadden CB
4b. Conner Vernon WR
5. Shemarko Thomas S
6. Joseph Fauria TE
7. Luke Marquardt OT

I'll give it a go:

1) Sheldon Richardson DT
2) Zach Ertz TE
3) Desmond Trufant CB
4a) William Gholston DE
4b) Rex Burkhead RB
5)  David Quessenberry OT
6) Michael Mauti LB
7) Matt Stankiewitch C
7) Zach Boren FB

I'd expect a no1 CB to be signed in FA and possibly a cheap DT and a DE. Miller probably walks as does Bennett.

No new DT? I think we have to get one in either Free Agency or the first three rounds. Can't go into the season with just Miller and Gibson again. Even if your comfortable with Miller starting, we need more depth. If we want to improve the pass rush, we need to upgrade over Miller.

I don't think we need a new DT. With Clayborn and Bowers on the edge we can move Bennett inside, even DTN played some DT on passing downs. So I'm okay with Miller and Gibson as our NTs. They were very good vs the run.

I do however think we need more depth at DE.

Jarius Byrd would make a Vincent Jackson like impact for the defence , after that

1)DT - Sheldon Richardson
2)CB - Jordan Poyer
3)OT - Brennan Williams
4)CB - Leon McFadden
4)DE - Quanterus Smith

I'm pretty sure Byrd is getting franchised, unfortunately.

Just read that Rutgers RB Jawan Jamison came out for this draft. I hope we don't draft him. He's ranked kinda high by some sites, but I'm not impressed.

Sheldon Richardson is going to be a stud in the pros.

1. Manti Te'o LB - I know, he had a bad game. But at this point you take the chance on him. I assume Milliner will be gone here and Banks will not be the pick.
2.Logan Ryan CB - Schianos boy in college, has ability to be a good corner. He will be pairing up with a FA CB that we signed
3.Jordan Reed TE - Loaded with potential, compares to former Gator Aaron Hernandez
4.Zac Dysert QB - Will push Freeman for the starting job. Like this kid a lot
4b. : John Simon - We need DL depth and Simon can provide that.

Curious,

With as many posters calling for Freeman to be replaced or at least have some competition - not one poster has picked a QB.

Makes one go .... humm.

(Update: just noticed that Legend has a QB picked in the 4th)
