On another note, it would be nice if the ace of our staff could get past the 6th inning once in a while.

And why not another, tried to bunt a runner into scoring position in the 9th, but to no avail .....

I guess it didn't really matter, but another terrible call against the Rays in the 10th as Jones passed 2nd base and didn't retrace his steps when returning to first

I was amazed that Showalter was able to figure out a way to get his team to bunt and make it work.  I'm not sure how he pulled it off, but somehow it worked.

Interestingly enough the bunt last night was by 20 year old Manny Machado .......

How was the youngin' able to get it down?  An old vet like James Loney can't be asked to do such a thing.

I bet that's why Machado was such a high draft pick.  He's got skillz.

Interesting note, the Rays have 3 Sac Bunts this year, the Orioles 4

I was more impressed by the fact that a 20 year old prospect could be capable of playing and contributing at the MLB level.

8 unanswered runs through 4 and Longo with 4th HR of season ... not bad for a college player

Yeah , but aren't they worried about arbitration in 2019 ?

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

Apparently not and they averaged around 14k in the stands for the Rays series so I have no idea how they could possibly have a 91 million dollar pay roll.

The supposed #4 and #5 pitchers have been excellent so far this season for the team.  Price and Helly will be fine in time, but I have to think it won't be long until Archer is promoted for Ex-Fausto.

It's fun watching this team when they hit the baseball.

I can't believe how bad they suck this year. Really dissapointed. I hope they can turn it around. really gonna suck to see Price traded away.

Another great pitching performance.  Only one homer tonight, but that is all we needed.

20 year old Manny Machado hit his 2nd homer of the year tonight for the O's while our hot shot OF prospect we traded two of our top notch pitchers for hit his first or the year ......  for our Triple A affiliate in Durham.
