The two "safe" calls for the Sox were ..... imaginative for certain... Now to win again and let's have an elimination game for BOTH teams... lol

Archer or Moore will be playing long reliever tomorrow. No idea why they wouldn't get the start over Hellickson. He has been awful.

Not a huge fan of Helly, but he's had some success against the Sux.   Moore would be going on 3 days rest and I don't think the Rays are going to risk that.  Archer struggled against the sux and the last couple of games in general.  I think he had a blister bothering him.   I'm sure Helly will have a very short leash and we'll see Archer quickly if necessary and then work the rest of the pen as necessary.   We need to score some runs either way.    Moore and Price sucking in Boston really killed us.

If we make it to game 5 I don't think there is any way we lose. Price will be pitching with a vengeance. He is an emotional pitcher and he will smoke the Rex Sox in Boston game 5.

Agree, but its getting there, that is the problem.

\\\\\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\\\\\"

That's just embarrassing. I blame Maddon, starting your worst pitcher all season in the biggest game of the season is ludicrous. They better get out of this with 2 or less runs or the decision to start Hellickson will have cost the Rays their season.

This was all part of Maddon's master plan .

What is your point? I was wrong? Ok. You win. I was wrong.

Same as last night. Longoria and Lobaton are gonna need to save the day again. Hellickson not being able to pitch deeper into the game may have put the Rays pitching order in a bind.

The pitching has been mediocre at best, they've had numerous defensive mistakes, two of their top 3 run producers have been non-existent and even Longoria save for the homer in game 3 has provided virtually nothing. With a series like that it's a miracle they didn't get swept.

Maddon over managing and under managing at the wrong times might have lost us this game.

Just imagine what could have been if the owners invested in this team after 2008.  They would have won a few WS by now.  A real shame.

Rays need some back of the bullpen help in the offseason.  Need a few bats, too.

They may need to trade Price to get another Wil Myers type prospect.
