Another good game, now if the Red Sox can lose ...

Hell, all of the AL East contenders lost.  Rays gained a game on everybody and are down to 3.5 behind Boston.
I do enjoy it when everyone cooperates...  ;)

Enjoyed the extra innings victory.  Only thing that sucked was Boston won again.   Friggin' Mariners.

The Rays are doing what was needed - 3 games back at this point in time... keep on going...

The news got better for Matt Moore today, as he is replacing Darvish on the AL All-Star team.

I would prefer he didn't - he is in a groove, he is hungry, and he wasn't a first choice.  While it is an honor, it is something he could do without.  I recognize it is the norm, but it is just my thought.

He deserves to go and should have been picked in the first place.  Now I'd be happy if he just sat there and didn't make an appearance.

I agree on both points

I'm sure he'll pitch.  With his last day of starting being 6 days from when the game will be played, he'll probably throw an inning.   I don't think it will be a bad thing, especially considering he won't start until the following Saturday or Sunday - depending on how much Maddon still feels ole Fausto should start ahead of Moore.

Price with another nice outing again.   Tripped up by the rookie.  Longo ends it looking.   I'll be there to watch Fausto tomorrow.  Need to take the next 2

Yep, can't pitch much more effectively.  If he keeps going with this type of performance the Rays will be fighting for the top spot in the NL east

This was one of those game where the opposing pitcher wasn't all that dominating, but the offense couldn't do anything.  Luckily we haven't seen much of that after the first month of the year.

Seems the team is wavering - need Longoria to get his bat going.  Thank goodness for Scott's hot bat carrying so much of the weight.  Meyers is impressing as well.

It's really been impressive that this team has been on this kind of winning streak with their best player struggling the way Longoria has.

The break is definitely coming at a good time for him, no doubt.

Fausto with another gem after a rough 1st.  McGee, Peralta, and Rodney finish the job.
