How would you rank the free agent cornerbacks?
Here's my ranking:
1st tier (as a #1 CB)
Keenan Lewis  - 23 pass defenses, 54 tackles
Sean Smith - 12 pass defenses, 53 tackles
2nd tier (as a #2 CB)
Brent Grimes - injured
Derek Cox- 11 pass defenses, 55 tackles
Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie -17 pass defenses, 43 tackles
3rd (as a nickel or dime CB)
EJ Biggars
Mike Jenkins
Sam Shields

Not a big Grimes fan, coming off a brutal injury and is not the tallest guy out there.

Smith is a big dude, like the Seahawks CB's, but not convinced he has their talent level.

Lewis is not a bad option, but I think there are better ones.  Like....Chris Houston, Darius Butler, Bradley Fletcher.

\\\"Java, do you understand this a perfect example of why people beg me to suspend or ban you on a daily basis? Are you actually trying to make a point? Seriously what is the reason for even commenting. In fact why do you even bother coming to the boards? What happened to the intelligent poster from years ago?  A real shame. Like the Bucs yesterday, a wasted effort.\\\"

DJ Moore from the bears would be good value. He is an irritant scrappy corner

If we can land Sean Smith and Derek Cox, and draft Jonthan Banks, we're set at CB. Our depth chart would look something like this:
1-Smith
2-Banks
3-Cox
4-Leonard Johnson
5-Gaitor
Huge improvement from last year.

This FA class is nothing like the 2011 and 2012 FA class.  There aren't any Brandon Carr's or Courtland Finnegan's available to sign.

I would take Sam Shields as a number 2 or 3.

I don't agree with Sam Shields being in the same tier as EJ Biggers. I don't think Sam Shields will get out of Green Bay, he is a restricted free agent because he only has three years in the league...but if he does hit FA, I would love for us to sign him.

So would I. He's been a playmaker since his rookie year and I would love for us to get him.

Putting Biggers on ANY tier automatically discredits your list.

He belongs on the Arena Football Tier.

I'd be more than happy with Shields. He is what i was hoping Eric Wright would be.
